19 of Daniil Medvedev's 21 titles have been earned on hard courts
A comeback the Russian player won his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with success over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
The Russian, a former world number one, has experienced a difficult year, winning just one win at the major tournaments and undergoing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
His varied form on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serving in especial - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-term coach Gilles Cervara.
Now collaborating with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden trophy after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard court from March of that year.
Success also indicates he has achieved twenty-one championships at twenty-one various events.
"For the first time I am participating in a event with my both daughters together, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," stated world number 14 Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my younger daughter my daughter, because the first title I won when my child my daughter was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his previous six championship matches, including in Halle earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive approach and regular outbursts on the tennis court had led commentators to wonder if his capacity to perform at the highest level was over.
However the player has altered his approach in recent weeks, making an effort to advance forward and compete positively, backed up by an better serve.
He came back from a deficit in the opening set against the difficult Frenchman, winning 4 of the last five games to take the lead.
The pair swapped service breaks in the following set before Moutet, striving for his maiden ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to push for a third set.
The opponent saved four initial opportunities in a close final set before the champion won the break to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, he secured victory with a point at the front of the court, with the Frenchman incapable to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
